Contest Rules
Follow these rules to ensure fair competition
Eligibility
- •Open to all producers worldwide
- •Must have a valid LOSTCAUSE account
- •One submission per producer per challenge
Submission Requirements
- •Beat must be original work created for the challenge
- •Must use the provided sample (if applicable)
- •Length: 1:30 - 3:00 minutes
- •Format: MP3 (320kbps) or WAV
- •Must be submitted before the deadline
Voting Rules
- •Community voting opens after submission deadline
- •One vote per user per submission
- •Cannot vote for your own submission
- •Voting period: after submissions close to the following Sunday PST
Any violation of these rules may result in disqualification and potential account suspension.
Fair Play Guidelines
Keeping the competition honest and fun
Allowed
- ✓Using any DAW or production software
- ✓Adding your own instruments and sounds
- ✓Collaborating with other producers
- ✓Promoting your submission on social media
Not Allowed
- ✗Using pre-made beats
- ✗Vote manipulation or buying votes
- ✗Multiple accounts or submissions
- ✗Copyrighted material without permission
